Michael Crane

Michael Crane is the Senior Director/Senior Counsel for Advertising & Trademarks at Choice Hotels International in Rockville, MD, which has over 6,800 franchised hotels in over 40 countries, representing over 500,000 total rooms. He previously led the trademark and soft IP teams at two international companies, Capital One (“what’s in your wallet?®”) and the pioneering Internet bank ING DIRECT. Mr. Crane is a past president of the Greater Philadelphia chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and has spoken at numerous companies and conferences on trademarks, branding, advertising and social media.
